Scott, you are of good quality speakers.

Must be good if the overhead for a short time, but if allowed to fly overhead. Probably there is an edge of cloth and paper cone which has a beating and still good (and time loooog sound difficult, the foam shit today). If you have a rattle shim coil and cone spray mist of water.

The fuse is a nice gesture and a good protection, but notes that the backup is located directly on them when it happens.

It could also suggest that the old bridges over the loudspeakers for the right of the right speaker Fequency list. This makes it sound better and last longer.

Enjoy.

The receiver only switches when overloaded or overheated. Become the speaker more power to protect. If your speakers are turned on less than 8 ohms, you can then switch to protection. If they are 4 ohms, and then bet, your amp can not handle.

You can know the carrying capacity of the speakers. In general, there are two classifications, continuous and peak. Furthermore, it is that you "handle permanently" for a long time. Pico is what we are manipulated for a short time (seconds or milliseconds). Sometimes it is simply the position of the peak, because it is higher and makes them seem stronger. A loudspeaker is a Peak Power Handling 600 watts may only be able to handle 150W continuous.

If your speakers are over 120 watts continuous handle, then you are probably right. The fuse protects the speaker when the speaker really big. Be forewarned that if you open your amp until you start the movie. Clipping can damage speakers.

You can say your amp never clips but Kenwood is known for the quality of ultra-high-amps, their rated power are true. Approaching the summit distortions would be foolish. Good amplifier distortion in the list of .05%, while most Kenwood receivers closer to 1%. In general it is a good thing to put up the volume any amplifier or receiver. If the speakers 6 ohms, might be an additional pressure on the amplifier add-receiver, in turn, make the clip.

If the amp clips are much more likely that the background on the speakers. In short, I think you're protected.

not less than vintage speakers have a fuse inside.

If you do not put in custom speaker wire fuse for added protection

$ 5.00 for these fuses and accessories.
